| BELLA~DONNA'S BIG DAY |
| 11/09/02 We decided that since it was such a NICE day for November, we'd take Bella up to our friends Doggy Cafe'. Melinda opened Jake & Elwood's House of Chews in honor of the two pups she adopted from us last year. We take the foster dogs up there for exposure, and to help socialize them. SO -- Patti and I went up with Bella. I gotta tell ya, for a dog that has had NO socialization, she did very well. Schmoozed everyone she met. Total strangers were coming up to us to ask us about her. Several people wanted to BUY her on the spot, when we mentioned who we were and that she was up for adoption. But alas, that's not how it works. Melinda's store also helps to educate people about puppy mills, back yard breeders, and the benefits of a good natural healthy diet. So- here is Melinda meeting Bella for the first time. She's seen her pictures, but didn't have any idea what a sable cocker spaniel looked like. She was floored. |

| While we were up in New Hope, PA, we decided to take a walk and get something for lunch. Bella came with us -- so we stopped at a little pizza place down the street from Melinda's stores. There were two little pugs sitting next to us on a bench outside. These guys were cute, and Bella was talking to them. Bella wanted us to share, so of course she got some pizza. She also liked smelling a few flowers on the walk back. |

| On our way home from Jake & Elwood's, we stopped at Petco to get some supplies. Because Bella hasn't had all her puppy shots, we put her in the cart. HAHAH, well, the manager stopped us and gave her a cookie. Then, a few little kids gave her treats. Patti found antlers and we just had to get a picture of her with them on. |

| Precious Bella~Donna had the BIGGEST day of her life. She passed out when we got in the car. In true puppy style, Bella came home and ran out the doggy door and BLITZED around the yard with Boo Boo and Major, came in, ate like a cocker piglet and took a puppy nap. |
