Sam was greeted at the school door by a friend of the class's teacher, Melinda, and was a hit right away. Teachers, kids and even the Principal wanted to meet him. BOY, did he lay on the charm. That little tail of his just wiggled with delight the entire time. If only we had a camera that could take wiggle vision pictures.
While we were on our way to Melinda's classroom, the bell rang. In an instant, the halls were filled with kids. Sammy soaked it all in. Kids were rushing up to him to pet him and talk to him. He was SOOO good about all of this too. Some dogs might have been overwhelmed, but not Sammy.
While still in the hall, one of the kids was eating a philly soft pretzel. Sammy did his darndess impression of a starving dog and managed to get a piece or two. He really loved being with the kids today. Take a look ;-) |
