Dear Angel Cocoa,
The second that I saw you at the shelter, I knew I had to give you a chance. You were a bundle of joy, certainly not a dog of 12 as they said you were. You were so happy and full of life! I only wish we had more time to be together. I know how hard you tried to get well to be able to run and play again. Remember how I always told you that you would have 3 brothers and a sister to play with? You would have loved that! I know you would have had lots of fun here!  But you never got the chance. Lots of people were pulling for you and saying lots of prayers for you to get well, but God needed you to be with Him.

Baby Angel, you were a true inspiration to me. Seeing you battle this deadly disease and trying so hard to get better, gave me the courage to let you go, and be by your side when it was time. Seeing you run to me on your last day was something I will never forget.

I love you Cocoa.  Heaven is a better place now with you there, and we will meet again someday. Until then, run and be happy.

  Your foster daddy,
        Mike
