Cockers in Need
HAPPY ENDINGS 2004
SILLY PUDDY
Puddy waited a LONG time in foster care, but he thinks it was well worth it.  He's now home with  his FOREVER family
.

Hugs & sloppy kisses Pud, we'll miss you!
Baby Jane has been adopted
6/2/04

Baby Jane was up for auction at a puppy mill in Missouri.  Cockers in Need was alerted and we purchased her freedom so she wouldn't live a life of misery in another puppy mill.

We brought her here, worked on socializing skills, had her spayed and she flew home (with her fairy godmother Jan) to her new home in Oregon.

Check out the smiles below
BJ and I the night before she left to fly home.  She is such a beautiful baby girl.

Sweet Sweet Daisy was adopted today and only good things for her from now on.

Her new mommy & daddy will love her forever and might even be looking for a sister or brother for her when she settles in.

Happy Happy life Daisy!!!

Mike will miss you

OH HAPPY DAYZ
Dottie gets adopted
Dotties new parents cried when they first met her.  This little baby girl is going to be soo spoiled and I have a feeling she'll be carried around and pampered like the Princess she is.  Her new daddy intends to grill her Perdue Chicken tenders.

Dot spent most of her first year in a pet shop.  She was then in a very stressful home and environment, but fortunately, the owner realized that she deserved much better and turned her over to us.  This little girl has come a long way.  We are really happy for her and will miss sweet little face.
Much love is coming your way baby!!!
Dottie was adopted as a heart healer, to help her new parents as they grieve over the loss of their 16 year old cocker.
PANSY IS ADOPTED BY HER FOSTER FAMILY!!!
8/3/04
Pansy is loved by Mary Jean & John and SAMMY, a cocker that was adopted from us nearly 2 years ago.  Look how cute they look.   You stepped in it real good Pansy.
9/9/04
Crissy, of the Cruz Pups, gets adopted by Jeri.  Crissy will have a cocker brother and a springer brother.  Happy Long Life Crissy.
Beth, Crissy's foster mom says goodbye before she leaves here.  She'll miss her sweetness and playful ways.
9/18/04
Carney Carney (full of blarney), of the Cruz Pups, gets adopted by Susan.  We'll miss his BIG button eyes and our little song we sang together.
Enjoy a long happy life Carney Bawoooo!
9/19/04
After being tossed around for a bit, and misunderstood, Maggie gets her forever home with Jo & Terri.  Maggie will have 2 mommies.  She went from the ugly duckling to a beautiful loving girl.  Maggie bag-a-rags has 2 doggy sisters and a stay at home mom to keep her company.
YAY MAGS!!!

9/20/04
HOLLY gets adopted!!!

Holly picked Sharon & Harvey to be her new parents.  They traveled a long way to get here and meet the pups.

They have decided to keep her name and add BERRY on the end, like a movie star, Holly Berry.  :-D

Happy Life baby girl.

KERMIT
10/03/04
Official name is now "Butternut's Kermit the Frogger"
Adopted by the Butternut Gang.  Kermie has taken a liking to Major (the lab mix in the picture), who is dying of cancer.  Kermie would protect Major from Nemo, who torments Major (in play) so Major thinks he should stay.  He bonded too hard with Garry & I for him to leave.
FANNIE
10/16/04
Fannie Bananny gets a new forever home.  She likes her new beagle brother and two human sisters.

She'll have her pick of beds to sleep in - I have a feeling everyone will want to be the one to snuggle with her at night.

Happy Life Little Girl!
DIZZY
10/24/04
Dizzy's new mom flew in from California to meet her.  Diz will have two Bichon siblings to play with and teach her stuff.

She'll be greatly missed by all of us here at the Butternut Ranch.  She was a good girl and always made us laugh.

Happy Daze Diz-bat

She's a leavin' on a jet plane!!!
BABY CRUZER
10/29/04
Baby was the screamer of the bunch.  She would make herself flat and hide under things.  We were a little worried she would never come out of her shell.  BUT SHE DID.  And she blossomed.  She had some of the cutest little habits.  She loves to lift her upper lips and smile.  She loves to stick her tongue out, just begging to be kissed.

Her new parents Chuck & Dianne knew right away she was the pup for them.  They had recently lost their cocker of 17 years, and Baby will be their little heart healer.

Many many good wishes for you honey.
11/6/04
Soft, silly, sensitive Windy is adopted.  He was the very last Cruz Pup to leave here.  We'll miss him and I'm sure my dogs will miss him too.  They had been teaching him how to be a puppy and how to use those sad eyeballs to his fullest advantage.

Take care of the pieces of our hearts you took with you.

Bye Bye Windy Ba-woo!!!!
